I don’t have many photos of today, so I will add some more from yesterday at Biloxi Mississippi. I stayed in Harrahs overflow parking … but also spent some time inside watching people play and looking at their stores.
I drove on Hwy 10 heading West. It was sad to see Mississippi and Louisiana with so many abandoned buildings, homes that looked abandoned and crushed, and many roofs (100+) that had blue tarps on them. Was this from a recent storm or from Hurricane Katrina?
Texas is huge! It makes me smile seeing all the big American flags. I think some may be as long as 30-40 feet (3-5 car lengths). As I drove through Comfort, I hit my first mountains 😊. I have missed the mountains.
Tomorrow will be another long drive day.
